Import and export
Save a flow as a .flowmage.json file and bring it into this or another workspace as a new draft, with a check of what it needs there.
Steps
Export the flow
On Flows, open the ⋯ at the end of the flow's row and choose Export; in the editor, Export is in the flow menu next to its name. Your browser saves a .flowmage.json file named after the flow.

Import the file
In the workspace you import into, click Import at the top of Flows and choose the file. In Import flow, check the Name, read What this flow needs here, and click Import flow. The flow opens as a draft: nothing is published, and it has no trigger yet.

How it works
- What this flow needs here lists the connections, tables, files, schemas and secrets the flow uses, and which ones this workspace has. With all of them, it says Everything this flow needs is already in this workspace.
- Choose another file goes back to pick a different file.
- Open in Flowmage, under a diagram on these docs, opens the same check for that template. See Start from a template.
If it did not work
- "A flow with that name already exists in this workspace." Change Name and click Import flow again.
- The import lists something this workspace lacks. Set it up, with the name the flow uses, before the flow runs: a connection, a table or a secret.
- The imported flow does nothing. It has no trigger and nothing is published. Publish it and add a trigger on its Triggers tab.
