Add nodes and link them
Add nodes from Add a step, link them with edges, put a node between two others, and change a node from its menu.
Steps
Open Add a step
Click the + to the right of the node your new node follows. Add a step opens and asks What happens after “Send the warning”?. A node with several ports, such as a Condition's Yes and No, has a + on each free one.

Pick a node
Search, or open a group such as Decide & repeat or Advanced, and click the node. It lands linked to the node before it. Beta marks a service whose nodes are still in beta.

To place a node without linking it, click Add step at the bottom of the canvas, or press Tab.
Link two nodes
Drag from the dot on the right of one node to the dot on the left of the next. The edge stays when you let go.

Put a node in between
Point at an edge, click the + in its middle, and pick the node. To remove an edge, right-click it and choose Delete connection.

Use the node's menu
Point at a node and click the ⋯ above it, or right-click it: Open settings, Test step, Rename, Turn off, Pin output, Copy, Cut, Duplicate and Delete. Open settings, or a double-click, opens the node's dialog.

What Turn off does
A disabled node stays on the canvas, but runs pass from the node before it straight to the node after it. Turn on brings it back.
If it did not work
- 1 step needs attention after you add a node. Most nodes need a setting. Click the count, then Fix.
- Turn off is greyed out. A Condition or a Switch decides where the flow goes, so it has no single path to pass through: delete it instead. Pin output is greyed out on these, on a Loop and on Start.
- A port has no +. It already has its one edge. Put the node in between on that edge.
