Run a flow by hand

Press Test run in the editor to run your draft once, right away, with no trigger, and find that run on the flow's Runs tab.

Steps

Press Test run

Click Test run at the bottom of the canvas. The panel below follows the run's steps until it says Worked or Failed.

What the run starts with

A draft run of your draft, on Test, unpublished. With no trigger, it starts from the Start node's trigger sample: open Start to fill it in.

Find the run

Click the flow's Runs tab. Your run is at the top, marked Test run. Click it to see each step again.

If it did not work

  • The run failed. Click the failed step and read its output. See Fix a failed run.
  • A node reads nothing from the trigger. A Test run reads the Start node's sample. Fill it in, or take a real one: on the Triggers tab, open a trigger's Deliveries and click Use as sample.
  • The flow does not start by itself. Give it a trigger and publish it.
