Start a flow from Stripe or AFAS Profit
Make a trigger on a connected Stripe or AFAS Profit, so a flow starts the moment the service sends an event, such as a paid invoice or an updated dossier.
Steps
Open New trigger
On the flow's Triggers tab, click Add trigger, then New trigger…. Below a line under the built-in rows, it lists each connected service that can start a flow.

Choose what starts it
Click the service. For Stripe, tick each event under Starts when; for AFAS Profit, choose A dossier gets an update. Add a Name and click Create and add.

Stripe's events
| Under Starts when | Stripe event |
|---|---|
| A payment succeeds | payment_intent.succeeded |
| A payment fails | payment_intent.payment_failed |
| An invoice is paid | invoice.paid |
| An invoice payment fails | invoice.payment_failed |
| A subscription starts | customer.subscription.created |
| A subscription changes | customer.subscription.updated |
| A subscription ends | customer.subscription.deleted |
| A checkout is completed | checkout.session.completed |
AFAS Profit names its dossier events per environment, so none is listed: every update it sends starts the flow.
Give AFAS Profit the link
Stripe skips this step: Flowmage sets Stripe up, and the trigger says Getting ready until it is done.
For AFAS Profit, open Triggers and click the trigger's name. Under One step left, copy the link and follow the steps beside it in AFAS Profit. The trigger says Getting ready until the first update arrives.

Publish the flow
In the editor, click Publish, then Put on Test. To start it on Prod, see Test and Prod.

If it did not work
- The service is not under New trigger. It has no connection in this environment. A row saying No Prod sign-in yet (or Test) has Add it to sign in there.
- The trigger says Needs attention. The service refused the setup; the trigger's page says why and how to fix it.
- AFAS Profit's updates never start the flow. The link is not pasted, or not in the dossier type you want. Paste it as the trigger's page says.
- You want to know when an AFAS Profit list changes. Use a watch.
