Fix a failed run
A run failed. Read the sentence its failed step gives, fix what it names, then re-run it with Retry… or try your fix with Test run.
Check these, in order
What does the failed step say?
Click the failed run on Runs. Its failed step is selected, and its Output leads with what went wrong, often with the other service's answer under it. Show details holds the error's code.

Or point at the error in the run's row: it shows the code, the sentence and the failed step without opening the run.

Paste the code or the sentence into the Error lookup for its cause and fix.
Was a service out of reach for a while?
"AFAS Profit could not be reached — try again once it is back", with a code like AFAS_UNAVAILABLE: the other service had a problem, and your flow needs no change. Once it is back, click Retry… at the top of the run, then Start the re-run.
A re-run is a new run in the same environment, with the same input, of the version on that environment now (or your current draft, for a draft run). Every step runs again, so what the steps before the failure sent or wrote happens twice.
To let a short outage heal by itself, give the node retries: see When a step fails.
Did a connection stop working?
The sentence says the service refused your sign-in. Fix the connection the step uses, then click Retry….
Is a node's setting, or the data it got, wrong?
"Order A-1042 has no lines", with a code like ORDER_INCOMPLETE: the step ran but could not use what it got. Select it under Steps: Settings shows what it ran with, and the steps before it show their Output.
Click Fix in editor (on a Prod run, Edit in Test) to open the step on the Flow tab. Fix the node, or the one before it, and click Test run to try it in Test. A flow on Prod changes only when you publish and put the new version on Prod.
Should the run be stopped instead?
A run still going shows Stop run instead of Retry…. Click it, then Cancel the run. The running step finishes and what it sent stays sent; nothing after it starts. A cancelled run can be re-run, never resumed.
