Invite members and choose their roles

Invite a colleague to your organization, pick their role and the workspace they join, and add them to more workspaces. Only admins can change Prod.

Steps

Open Invite

Open Settings, then Organization, then Members and click Invite.

Send the invitation

Type your colleague's Email, pick their Role and the Workspace they join, and click Invite. The invitation is listed as Pending with the day it expires, 7 days on.

RoleWhat it can do
OwnerEverything an admin can. Ownership moves only through support.
AdminManage the organization's members and workspaces, and act as an admin in every workspace.
MemberBuild and run flows in Test in the workspaces they are added to. A workspace admin can make them Admin of one workspace, to change Prod there.
Organization members: Sam Jansen as Owner, and one invitation, Pending, with the day it expires.

Your colleague accepts

They open the email's link (You've been invited, with the address), sign in or create an account with that address, and land in the workspace you picked. See Sign up and sign in.

You've been invited, naming the address the invitation is for.

Add them to another workspace

Switch to that workspace, open Settings, then Workspace, then Members and click Add member. Pick your colleague under From your organization; an owner or admin can also invite someone new under Invite by email.

Add a member to Default: pick someone from your organization, or invite them by email with a role.

If it did not work

  • Name your organization first. It still has its sign-up name, which the invitation shows. Type the Company name and click Name and invite.
  • The invitation got lost or expired. In its ⋯ menu on the organization's Members, click Resend invitation; Withdraw invitation… cancels it.
  • The invitation page names another address. It works only for that address: sign in with it, or invite the address your colleague uses.
  • Your colleague does not see a workspace. Members open only the workspaces they are added to: add them as in the last step.
  • Your colleague cannot change Prod. On the workspace's Members, use Change workspace role in their ⋯ menu to make them an admin. (Change role on the organization's Members changes their organization role.)
