| ConnectionRequired | The MessageBird connection the step signs in with. |
| SenderRequired | Your sender id: a phone number in international format (+31612345678), or up to 11 letters and digits. The sender must be registered for the country you are texting — several countries refuse letters, and the United States needs a registered number or short code. |
| Send to | "recipients" or "groups" |
| Phone numbers | One or more numbers in international format, separated by commas. Up to 50 per call. |
| Group ids | Group ids, separated by commas. The List groups node gives you the ids. |
| MessageRequired | 160 characters fit in one part with plain text, 70 with accents or emoji. Longer messages are split and billed per part. |
| Type | "sms" or "flash" |
| Character set | "auto" or "plain" or "unicode" |
| Your reference | A label MessageBird echoes back and sends with the delivery report. It does not stop a duplicate send. |
| Delivery report address | MessageBird calls this address when the status changes. Leave it empty unless you have a trigger listening. |
| Send at | A moment in RFC 3339, e.g. 2026-10-01T09:00:00+02:00. Empty sends now. |
| Valid for (seconds) | MessageBird stops trying after this many seconds. Empty uses their default. |
| Shorten links | Replaces links in the message with short ones so they cost fewer characters. |
